Comment on AT&T; to Buy T-Mobile for $39 Billion by Ken

AT&T; and Verizon will eventually corner the wireless markets and it's going to get tough for us consumers over the long haul. This deal will spell disaster for Sprint because AT&T; and Verizon account for about 80% of the data that moves along the wireline networks in the US. If these two entities decide to hike the rates for access to these backbones, it's going to crush Sprint's margins. The FTC needs to step up and say no to this deal.

Comment on The Thrifty Apple Holiday Gift Guide by Ken

Totally agree about the TuneIn Radio app. Love it. Records streams without fuss. Syncs your favorites ("presets") with the radiotime.com site. The clincher for me is how it immediately shows songs and program names plus cover art for anything that's playing, even on saved audio. It's magic.
