You're not kidding, especially after I talked to Comcast's "executive customer service". I had tweeted about my situation, and @ComcastBill responded, asking for an email about what happened. I wrote a detailed, polite email about what was going on. I got a call from someone who had obviously not really read the email (she pretty much stated so in her call). She basically was trying to see if giving me a one-time credit would resolve the situation. But that wasn't what I was looking for. Now I'm looking forward to Verizon arriving next week...

"clean-ness" of Google experience? I find this laughable. Andriod is the messiest mobile platform todate, not to mention it offers the poorest end-user experience. I configure smart phones for all users in my organization. Most users with android phones keep coming back to me to make sense of tens and tens of junk icons and widets that's all over thier phones by default. I bet google makes some $$$ for filling up anriod with 3rd party junk. There is nothing clean about that.

Ray Ozzie Has Seen The Future, And It Looks A Lot Like Google

Just as Microsoft chief software architect Ray Ozzie is preparing to step down, he's leaving the software giant with a farewell memo outlining where the "Post-PC" world is headed. Titled "Dawn of a New Day," it comes across as a dire warning for Microsoft to move faster away from its dependence on the PC towards "continuous services" in the cloud available across a wide array of "connected devices." Ozzie has hit upon some of these themes before, starting with a big-think memo five years ago called "The Internet Services Disruption." Certainly his original concept of Microsoft Mesh was very much in this vein of syncing data across devices and the cloud. But Mesh has been years in the making, and is only now beginning to see the light of day in limited ways.
