Comment on Why I’m Not Buying A Boxee Box by me

hulu blocking can be circumvented with proxying the interweb to the boxee box hulu monkeys are not as clever as they believe there are plenty of private groups who effectively block the tracking- and ads of hulu (and block the long black silence). Hulu is only able to react when a twit publicly posts hulu adblocking blocking circumvention. hulu has a crew that spends all their time hunting such people.. the twits are easily discovered A socially offensive finger for you hulu monkeys :P When I pay for TV content (through ISP or satellite) .. and I'll say it slowly... I... will .... not .... watch ..... commercials. It is not a service to inflict (interstitial) ads on another medium. duh? should be. It is not a service to harvest- and sell behavioral information. back to boxee box the newest pushed 'mandatory' boxee box firmware 101213 partly addresses my number one issue: gui priority for local media. However they have removed the "ad-supported" warning from some media *still* available in the GUI. naughty naughty boxee box firmware devs! I want to throw lumps of coal at you all!! I would like some features to purge the ad tracking cookies and flash 'super' cookies from the chromium cache (that's the boxee box browser) porn? the miro feed browser boxee box app still shows "sex advice" feeds with the "adult" hiding tickbox checked. that's still NOT acceptable wired network chocking on 1080p on an otherwise gigabit local network is likely to be addresses in the next hardware iteration of the boxee box. At that point I would appreciate an upgrade from usb-only to esatap ports (usb+esata).. And also better vpn flavors to access media from VPS webhosting while traveling ;)
