Who is on the leading edge of where location-based advertising is going and what do they say?

In terms of people to keep an eye on to make big moves on LBS:�Dennis Crowley & Tristan Walker (Foursquare), Seth Priebatsch (SCVNGR).



Big movers in this space in terms of actual advertisers for LBS are companies like Target, Wal-Mart, and Best Buy.



If you're looking to just focus on LBS then you should be set for at least a year �with this list :) but I would suggest looking at advertising a little more holistically and 360 degree view than just focusing on one aspect right off the bat if you're looking to learn as much as possible about online advertising. �The real impact happens when you are able to connect and leverage different platforms or offerings as an advertiser to garner stronger results than just using one type of advertising or strategy.
