Voted : not buying Lion at all. Lifelong Mac user (20+ years). Currently 10.5.8. I'm not looking forward to an iOS UI, iCloud and App Store restraints. I consider this a serious dumbing down and an unacceptable stranglehold that has me seriously worried about Apple's good intentions towards its longtime loyal fans. Very disappointed with these developments. Nothing in Lion holds any appeal for me at all and it offers absolutely nothing which empowers me compared to what I'm currently able to do with Leopard. For now I'm only considering Snow Leopard.

These are the same "rules of email" I've been seeing for 10 years, nothing new here. This whole idea sounds like a bunch of self-proclaimed experts chasing a problem that doesn't exist for most people. Maybe THEY just can't figure out how to deal with email, but most of the rest of the users seem to be getting along just fine.

The only difference between Google News and HuffPo is CSS. If Google would stop letting Engineers run departments, they might learn how to build a usable service from UX/UI experts, but they are too vain.

No, it's a Skype problem. They rely on their end users to provide the computing power necessary (instead of running centralized servers), and bill you for the privilege when you want to use premium services. A brilliant business model.

You haven't seen Apple's cloud yet and when you do...it will rain on everyone else's sub-standard parades. Apple will not only rule the cloud but the heavens in their entirety. Rep. Peter King Defends His Call For WikiLeaks To Be Designated A Terrorist Org.

Rep. Peter King (R-NY), frequently the first pol to jump into the fray with the most headline-friendly remarks,  has called for WikiLeaks to be designated a foreign terrorist organization.

This morning he told Morning Joe that by doing so "we would be able to seize their assets, and we'd be able to stop anyone from helping them in any way, whether it's making contributions or giving free legal advice....either we're serious about this or we're not!"

King, who is the incoming chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, also said he intends to hold "full hearings" on this to find out how the leak happened. 

Said Joe Scarborough: "Should you not focus first on figuring out how we failed before going after WikiLeaks, I understand what you're saying about WikiLeaks, I think you may be overstepping a good deal."

Said King: "We have to walk and chew gum at the same time, we have to do both."  Indeed.  Video below.
