Google Lat Long Blog: Getting From ‘here To There’ With My Location In Google Maps
When getting directions on Google Maps, we suggest an origin or destination after you type the first few characters. But, we want to save you even more time by eliminating the need to type your current address each time. Today you can start using ‘My Location’ as a starting or ending point for your directions using the familiar ‘blue dot’ found in Google Maps for mobile.

CHART OF THE DAY: This Is What Microsoft Is Getting For Its Big Bing Investment
After spending billions of dollars over the last two years fighting Google with Bing, what does Microsoft have to show for it?
Not much from a marketshare perspective. The latest comScore data shows Bing's share is at 14.4%, and it's not exactly growing like a weed.
If you're looking for something positive in here from Microsoft's perspective, it's that Google's share has been stalled at 65% in the U.S.

Google Sites Are Getting A Brand New Look [PHOTOS] (GOOG)

iPhones May Be Getting Voice Control After All (AAPL)
One of the biggest features we were hoping for in iOS 5 was better voice control, thanks to Apple's partnership with Nuance.
According to one developer, that may actually happen by the time iOS 5 launches this fall.
References to Nuance have been found buried in iOS 5's code and the tech blogger Chronic Wire was able to snag a few screenshots and post them to his Twitter account.
Other screenshots show an option to add a "microphone" icon to your keyboard for dictating text, just like Android phones can do now.
As developers keep digging, expect several more iOS 5 Easter eggs to come.
