The new map collection features recreational opportunities and terrain maps for the dedicated adventurer. And they're affordable and durable. While you
trek through the forest, climb the mountain, or participate in a
safari, you don't have to worry about your map tearing or smearing.
Each AdventureMap is printed on synthetic material that is waterproof, tear resistant, and environmentally friendly.
"Our AdventureMaps are designed to aid the more adventurous traveler as he or she successfully and safely navigates some of the most exotic and remote destinations on Earth," said Charlie Regan, vice president and general manager of National Geographic Maps.
AdventureMap will release a new map for Puerto Rico in November and will continue releasing 60 maps into 2012 for destinations in Africa, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. The maps cost $11.95 and can be found at any National Geographic retailer or can be purchased online. For more information about these maps, visit the National Geographic website.
